Dr. Georg Kalhammer (partner), Dipl.-Biochem., German Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney.
Studied Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen, research work at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry.
He made his PhD in the field of cell biology and genetic engineering. Graduated in 1998. He received his training
in an international law firm in Munich, and at the German Patent and Trademark Office and Federal Patent Court.
Qualified as German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2002. Dr. Kalhammer has special experience
in biotechnology, genetic engineering and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Member of the Patentanwaltskammer (German Association of Patent Attorneys), of EPI
(Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office), of GRUR (German Association for
the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright) and of FICPI (International Federation of Industrial
Property Attorneys). Lecturer on German Patent Law within the MAS IP Programme of the ETH Zürich.
