Dr. Günter Keller (partner), Dipl.-Biol., German Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney.
Studied Biology at the Technical University in Munich. Graduated in 1982.
His PhD-thesis related to microbiology, genetic engineering and biochemistry. He obtained his training
in an international patent law firm in Munich, the corporate patent department of an international company
in the USA, at the lower District Court (Landgericht) in Munich, and at the German Patent Office and Federal
Patent Court. He qualified as German Patent Attorney in 1988 and as European Patent Attorney in 1989. Since 1994
he is on the board of the Patentanwaltskammer. Dr. Keller has special experience in biotechnology, genetic
engineering and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Member of the Patentanwaltskammer (German Association of Patent Attorneys), of EPI (Institute of Professional
Representatives before the European Patent Office) where he is active as member of the Biotech Committee, of
GRUR (German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright) where he is active as
member of the Expert Committee for Patent Law, of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of
Industrial Property) and of FICPI (International Federation of Industrial Property Attorneys).
